France has banned the entry into its territory of Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who released a video of “Gaza flotilla” activists on their knees with their hands tied, sparking international outrage, the head of French diplomacy announced today.
“As of today, Itamar Ben-Gvir is banned from entering French territory,” Jean Noel Barrot announced in X, denouncing “unacceptable actions against French and European passengers of the Global Sumud flotilla.”
“Together with my Italian counterpart, I ask the European Union to proceed with sanctions against Itamar Ben-Gvir,” he added.
