A new poll reflects significant changes in the political scene, recording the first balances that have been formed since Alexis Tsipras founded ELAS, without however changing the primacy of New Democracy, which still maintains a strong lead.

According to the findings of the survey published by the newspaper “Proto Thema”, New Democracy remains in the lead in the vote estimation with 30.8%, maintaining a significant distance from its political rivals.

The newly founded ELAS of Alexis Tsipras is in second place, with 15.7%, making a dynamic entry into the political scene and reshaping the correlations in the opposition.

The battle for third place is particularly interesting, where Maria Karystianou’s “Hope for Democracy” appears with 10.9%, passing ahead of PASOK, which follows with 10.3%.

In the next positions, KKE and Hellenic Solution jointly score 6.8%, Eleftherias’ Eleftherias’ Rally registers 5.4%, the Voice of Logic 3.7%, while SYRIZA is limited to 1.8%.

For Charilaou Trikoupis, the results are negative, as PASOK shows a loss of 3.2 percentage points compared to the previous measurement of the same company, which intensifies the concern about its course in the centre-left.

At the same time, the survey records pressure on several traditional parties, which is interpreted as an indication of a rearrangement of the political map and a shift of voters towards new political formations.

All in all, although New Democracy maintains a clear lead, the balance of the political scene is changing significantly, especially in the centre-left and left-wing parties.

Developments become of additional political interest after the decisions of the SYRIZA congress on Saturday (06/06), where Socrates’ proposal for political alliance with Alexis Tsipras’ new project was approved, paving the way for new rearrangements in the progressive sector.
