Pavlos Polakis sent his own message after the Central Committee voted in favour of Socrates Famellos’ proposal for a political alliance between SYRIZA and Alexis Tsipras’ ELAS.
The MP made it clear that he and those who share his positions remain in SYRIZA, stressing that the political battle continues and that they will closely monitor the implementation of the decisions taken.
At the same time, he expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that the amendment he had submitted jointly with Nikos Pappas and Rena Dourou was not approved.
Pavlos Polakis also stressed that he does not intend to leave SYRIZA, noting that he expects to see in practice which executives and which MPs, who have declared that they will join Alexis Tsipras’ new party, will finally make this choice in the coming period.
