U.S. President Donald Trump said he told his diplomatic representatives not to rush into a deal with Tehran because “time is on our side,” less than a day after he announced that a deal with Tehran was under extensive negotiations.
“The blockade will remain in full force until an agreement is reached, ratified and signed. Both sides need to take their time and get it right,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
According to him, “There should be no mistakes! Our relationship with Iran is becoming much more professional and productive.”
