Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is visiting Laconia today, launching a new cycle of tours in the Greek region following the recent New Democracy congress. Through his contacts with citizens and local institutions, he seeks to highlight government interventions related to everyday life and the improvement of living standards.

During his presence in Sparta, he will visit the city’s commercial centre, where he will talk to residents and professionals, and then visit the General Hospital of Sparta, which is under construction.

In the afternoon, the Prime Minister will attend an event to mark the completion of the restoration and enhancement works of the historic Kastropolitia of Mystras, as well as the new exhibition areas at the Palace of the Despots. The project uses modern technologies, offering visitors an interactive experience of Byzantine life, everyday life of the period and the history of the region.

At the same time, the government staff is monitoring the processes in the opposition in view of new political initiatives and party announcements. However, the government’s line remains focused on implementing the programme and achieving political stability, with the main objective of maintaining the trust of citizens in the next elections.
