Earlier, Pakistani government sources said that during his visit to Pakistan, Abbas Araghchi handed over Tehran’s negotiating positions to Pakistani officials and expressed Iranian reservations over US demands.
The Iranian diplomatic chief warned that Tehran would not accept “maximalist demands” from the United States.
Spokesman Ismail Baghaei said through X that no meeting has been scheduled between Iran and the US and that Iranian positions would be conveyed to the US side through Pakistani mediators.
