The President of the Republic, Konstantinos Tasoulas, expressed his condolences on the death of Giorgos Souflias, referring to a distinguished politician who served his country from key positions of responsibility, with ethics, efficiency, vigour and moderation.
Specifically in his condolence statement, Mr. Tasoulas said :
“It was with deepest sadness that I learned of the loss of Giorgos Souflias, a distinguished politician who served his country from key positions of responsibility with ethos, efficiency, fierceness and moderation.
He was a man of solid convictions who always placed duty and national unity as his first priority. I extend my condolences to his family and friends.”
