The new nationwide poll conducted by Pulse for SKAI’s main newscast records significant changes in the political scene, with New Democracy maintaining a clear lead and the new political projects of Alexis Tsipras and Maria Karustianou reshaping the balance of the centre-left.

In the vote intention, New Democracy garnered 25.5%, increasing its strength by 1.5 percentage points compared to the previous count. Alexis Tsipras’ ELAS is in second place with 13.5%, while PASOK marginally maintains third place with 10%. It is followed by Maria Karustianou’s “Elpida” with 9.5%, while the other parties are moving at lower percentages: KKE 6%, Hellenic Solution 5.5%, Eleftherias Eleftherias 4.5% and Voice of Logic 3%.

In the vote estimate, New Democracy reaches 29.5%, ELAS registers 15.5%, PASOK 11.5% and Elpida 11%. They are followed by the KKE with 7%, Hellenic Solution with 6.5%, Eleftherias Eleftherias with 5%, Voice of Reason with 3.5%, while the MP25 appears to be marginally securing entry to the Parliament with 3%.

The findings on citizens’ voting criteria are particularly interesting. “Outlook” emerges as the most important factor influencing voting choice, while “anger” is recorded significantly lower at 11%.

In terms of suitability for the prime ministership, Kyriakos Mitsotakis remains in the lead with 30%. Alexis Tsipras and the “none” option follow with 17%, while Nikos Androulakis scores 7%.

The survey also shows that ELAS draws significant support from the centre-left and the left. 33% of its voters come from the centre-left and 25% from the left, while 55% of those who say they will support it voted for SYRIZA in the previous elections. Meanwhile, 10% came from the KKE and 7% from PASOK.

As far as the image of Alexis Tsipras’ new political project is concerned, 49% of respondents believe that it presents little or no differences compared to the past. However, among those who say they intend to vote for ELAS, 34% believe there are many differences compared to the period when the former prime minister led SYRIZA.
