Normal exams in North Evia
Due to the earthquake tremors that occurred on Sunday in North Evia, the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports announced that the Panhellenic Examinations are proceeding normally in the region.
After the necessary inspections, all school units functioning as examination centres were deemed completely safe to accommodate candidates.
Minister Sofia Zacharaki is in constant communication with the educational authorities, the local government and the competent civil protection bodies, in order to constantly monitor the situation.
Finally, alternative plans for the operation of the examination centres were also examined in cooperation with Mayor George Tsapourniotis and the educational authorities, in order to ensure the smooth participation of all candidates should the need arise.
