In January’s vote estimate, according to the results of the Metron Analysis survey presented on Mega’s main newscast. The ruling party’s lead of 28.6% (up from 31.1%) in the vote estimate was 13.6 points over PASOK, whose needle “moved” upwards, but only by 1.4 points.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis maintains a very large lead in suitability for the prime ministership, with 26%, compared to just 7% for Alexis Tsipras and 6% for Nikos Androulakis, who is even tied with Konstantopoulou and Velopoulos. It should be noted that Metron Analysis counts spontaneous reports on the question of suitability for Prime Minister – Maria Karystianou was recorded at 4%, while she has a potential vote of 10%, a drop of 6 points compared to the January measurement.
Both PASOK and its president gained three points in the citizens’ rating, but Nikos Androulakis, despite his rise in popularity from 23% to 26%, remains in sixth place, behind Zoe Konstantopoulou (still in first place, having lost 9 points since January), Dimitris Koutsoubas, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Socrates Famellos and Gavriel Sakellaridis.
Metron Analysis “puts out” an eight-party parliament, while … reversing the gap in favour of coalition governments (53% want a coalition government, 44% a government of self-reliance) and raising the percentage of undecided voters to 14.9% from 13% in March – which possibly means that a percentage of citizens are waiting for the Tsipras and Karystianos parties.
It is interesting that Alexis Tsipras shows a two-point rise to 11% in the potential vote (very likely to vote for him), but spontaneous mentions of him in the suitability for prime minister are 4 points lower, while the gap is 6 points for Maria Karystianou.
The institution of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office has a very high approval rating, with 78% saying that “participation benefits the country”. At the same time, the most important problem remains accuracy and the economy.
