Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stressed the attitude of our country towards the Gulf countries attacked by Iran to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, with whom he met today at the Maximou Mansion. At the same time, the Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with Qatar’s confidence through investment in the Greek economy, which, he said, has made significant progress.
“Greece stood by the side of all Gulf countries and supported your country against an unprovoked attack by Iran,” Mitsotakis said: “I appreciate Qatar’s commitment to invest in Greece. Our economy has made significant progress compared to previous years.”
For his part, the Emir of Qatar thanked Mitsotakis and our country for its stance against Iran’s attack on the Gulf countries and said: “I would like to thank you, Prime Minister, you and your country for standing by your friends in this conflict. Your economy will do well under your leadership and we look forward to more opportunities for investment in your country.”
