Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, George Mylonakis, chose the route of justice in order to respond to the newspaper Documento, as he had previously announced. Mylonakis today appealed to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Supreme Court, filing a lawsuit, in response to last Sunday’s publication which presents him as being involved in “a fictional type of scandal of corruption, pedophilia and mystical organizations.”
In this context, the deputy minister requested a full investigation of the case by the authorities, noting that it is an “unprecedented operation of slander with fake evidence”. In fact, as he disclosed through a post, the material he made available to the judiciary proves “beyond any doubt” that the telephone conversations and text messages attributed to him are entirely fabricated.

At the same time, Mr. Mylonakis stresses that the disputed publication lacks any connection with reality and refers to serious criminal acts committed against him by unknown perpetrators.
