According to a SKAI report, the two police officers were attending sessions with a psychologist to help them cope with the changes brought about by their separation and adjust smoothly to their new reality.
In fact, the female police officer reportedly expressed a positive opinion of her estranged husband, entrusting him with the care of their children without expressing any concerns about his behavior.
This is illustrated by the transfer request she had submitted for the summer, in order to serve away from her home station. As she had informed her employer, during her absence the children would remain in the care of their father, who would take responsibility for their daily needs.
