Commotion broke out at noon on Tuesday in downtown Larissa when a traffic accident occurred on Eleftherios Venizelos Street, in which a young child was struck by a motorcycle.
Police officers rushed to the scene immediately, documented the incident, and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. At the same time, an EKAB ambulance was called to provide first aid.
The child was transported to the University Hospital of Larissa, which was on duty at the time, where he underwent the necessary medical examinations to assess his condition.
The exact causes of the traffic accident remain under investigation by the relevant authorities.
