Zoe Konstantopoulou made revelations about her meeting with Alexis Tsipras yesterday while speaking on Mega.

The President of the Electoral Alliance for Freedom described her meeting with the former Prime Minister, where she was presented with evidence from surveillance by the National Security Service, creating a climate of intimidation.

“The world is not going to forget who Alexis Tsipras is,” she noted, and continued:

“One of the shocks I had was when he called me to Maximou, in March 2015, and he started to flip through some papers and told me the story that we have interceptions from this prisoner who says ‘we want to eat a Syrian’.

When I saw a Tsipras in the office leafing through wiretaps given to him by Roubatis I understood all too well that he was trying to scare me. He was a person who had surrendered to the parastate and what I said to him then was that if what you do as the Prime Minister of the country is to read NSS surveillance taps you are on a very bad path and you should be careful who gives you and what they give you.”
