Environment and Energy Minister Stavros Papastavrou referred to the publication of Donald Trump’s interview with him on the Truth Social platform, noting that this is a recognition of the energy policy of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
As he said, his interview at the Delphi conference highlights that Kyriakos Mitsotakis was one of the first European leaders to raise the issue of a realistic energy transition, stressing that green policy must go forward but not at any cost.
At the same time, he stressed the need to take into account social cohesion and the competitiveness of the economy, adding that Greece has leadership that puts the national interest first in energy choices.
