In a particularly sharp post on X, Nikos Karachalios takes a swipe at Maria Karastianou, claiming that she “accepted an order from Moscow to found a party.”
In the same post, Nikos Karachalios refers to journalist and longtime Moscow correspondent Thanasis Avgerinos, who, in his words, is destined for a representative role in the political group being formed, noting that the process “accelerated developments that resemble a madhouse.”
At the same time, he went on to make particularly harsh characterizations of him, referring to him as a “pro-Hindu, religious and anti-Jewish” person, while adding that he “fits perfectly into the Putin spider’s web.”
