The Central Election Committee of the 16th Congress of New Democracy met on Sunday 17 May 2026, to validate the results of the vote for the election of the new Political Committee of the party.
The Committee consists of Ioannis Smyrlis as Chairman and the members Christos Kapetanos, Eftichia Adilini, Theopisti Krystallidou and Georgios Katssaounos.
The voting took place in 30 polling stations and, according to the Commission’s announcement, the process was completed smoothly without any problems. Immediately after the completion of the election process, the counting and sorting of votes began.
