The 6th pre-conference of the party will be held today in Thessaloniki in the presence of Prime Minister and President of the New Democracy Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The pre-conference, on the theme “Strong Greece”, will take place at the International Exhibition Centre of the TIF – Helexpo (Pavilion 10), with the participation of the MPs of the regions of Central and Western Macedonia, members of the respective local organisations and representatives of the central administration of the party and the ONNED.
The first part of the pre-conference will be addressed by Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis, Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias and Minister of Environment and Energy Stavrou Papastavrou. This will be followed by a speech by European Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism Apostolos Tzitzikosta.
The pre-conference will conclude with a speech by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The Thessaloniki pre-conference concludes the pre-conference proceedings on the way to the 16th Ordinary Congress of New Democracy, which will take place from 15-17 May in Athens.
