French President Emmanuel Macron called “unacceptable” the Iranian strikes in the United Arab Emirates, where authorities yesterday Monday called them Tehran’s first attacks in more than a month of a Middle East ceasefire with unmanned aerial vehicles and cruise missiles.

“Iranian strikes against the civilian infrastructure of the Emirates are unjustified and unacceptable,” Macron denounced via X, assuring the UAE of France’s “support” and calling once again for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and an agreement to be concluded to provide security guarantees for countries in the region.
