“The surplus returns to society”, underlines the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Niki Kerameos, in her post on social media, following the announcement of the new support measures by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
As it says, the measures include new aid for pensioners and the insured.
Specifically:
“- The annual aid given to low pensioners, uninsured elderly and disabled people is increased to 300 euros net from 250 euros every November and the number of beneficiaries is increased by 420,000. Now, this aid will cover 85% of pensioners over 65 years old.
– It is also provided for the possibility of joining a 72 installment arrangement for old debts (until the end of 2023) to EFKA that have not yet been settled.”
In her post, Kerameos stresses: “As the country’s economic indicators improve, as unemployment decreases, as the implementation of the Digital Labour Card is extended, as compliance with tax and insurance legislation is strengthened, we return back to society valuable surplus that is created.”
