In Crete, the pre-conference dialogue continues on the road to the 16th regular congress of the New Democracy.
The pre-conference, entitled “Greece a destination for all – Major projects and infrastructure”, is expected to take place in Heraklion on Monday, April 20, in the presence of New Democracy president and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
As ERTNews points out, the pre-conference will be held at the Candia Maris Hotel, starting at 17:30, with the participation of the deputies of the regions of Crete and South Aegean, members of the respective local organizations and representatives of the party’s central administration and the ONNED.
The pre-conference will consist of two parts:
- In the first, a panel will be held with the participation of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Christos Dimas, the Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni, the Minister of Shipping and Island Policy Vassilis Kikilias and the Minister of Tourism Olga Kefalogianni. This will be followed by a speech by the Vice President of the New Democracy and the government, Costis Hatzidakis.
- The second part will include a discussion between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the mayor of Halki, the president of the community of Fodele, a tour operator and a curator of antiquities.
