Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with European Council President Antonio Costa tonight at the Maximou Mansion. During the meeting, Mr Costa briefed the Prime Minister on his tour of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
The latest developments and prospects for peace in Iran and the Middle East were also discussed, while the need for a diplomatic solution and a solution that ensures freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz was underlined. The Prime Minister and the President of the European Council also stressed the need to make progress in the Lebanon negotiations.
