OPEKEPE: The Ethics Committee decided to lift the immunity of 11 MEPs at their request

The Ethics Committee of the House of Representatives unanimously recommends the lifting of the immunity of the 11 New Democracy MPs mentioned in the OPEKEPE file.

At the Ethics Committee meeting, of the 11 MPs present, Kostas Tsiaras and Notis Mitarakis were present, while the rest submitted written submissions, all calling for the lifting of their parliamentary immunity to let the truth shine through, they said.

In addition, on April 20, the committee will meet for MPs Charalambos Athanasiou and Tasos Hadjivassiliou, whose names are included in the third dossier, which will soon be submitted to Parliament.

The aim is to add the 2 dossier to that of the 11, to be discussed together in plenary.
