The trial of the Tempe train accident continues today in GAIOPOLIS.
As clarified in the new order of the President of the Larissa Court of Appeal of the Three-Member Court of Appeals published on Friday, the courtroom today will be entered first by the supporters of the charge with serial number 98 and onwards, as they are listed in the indictment, with the clarification that 32 people have already made the relevant statement in support of the charge during the session of April 1.
Then, in accordance with the order, the other witnesses who have been summoned and wish to make the statement, and finally the victims who, although not summoned, are mentioned in the indictment and wish to make a statement in support of the charge.
It should be noted that the total number of persons appearing in support of the prosecution as shown in the indictment is 230 while the number of witnesses is 122.
In the previous hearing, a request was submitted by the advocate for the victims’ relatives and President of the Eleftherias Plevisi Eleftherias, Zoe Konstantopoulou, for the audiovisual coverage and transmission of the trial, with the court reserving until the legalization of all advocates is completed in order for them to take a position on the request if they so wish.
