“I place myself at the disposal of the competent authorities along with my fellow MPs, with whom we are allegedly involved in the case of OPEKEPE,” Serres MP Kostas Karamanlis of Southwestern Greece said in a statement.
“I am innocent and will prove my innocence wherever I am called. I will continue to honour the mandate of my fellow citizens, as I ought to do, until the term of this House expires,”
“However, since politics for me is not an end in itself, I declare that I do not intend to stand as a candidate in the next elections,”
