Following an announcement by Deputy Prime Minister and government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis, following a decision by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to make changes to the government, the composition of the new government is as follows:
1) Ministry of Rural Development and Food
– Minister: Margaritis Schinas
– Deputy Minister: Makarios Lazaridis
– Deputy Minister: Yannis Andrianos
2) Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection
– Minister: Evangelos Tournas
– Deputy Minister: Kostas Katsafados
3) Ministry of Health
The responsibilities of the mental health portfolio, which until now have been held by former Deputy Minister Dimitris Vartzopoulos, will be distributed internally within the Ministry.
The swearing-in of the new members of the government will take place today, Saturday, April 4, at 11:00 a.m. at the Presidential Palace, in the presence of President of the Republic Constantinos Tasoulas.
