Vassilis Zoulias spoke to Katerina Kainourgiou on the occasion of his new collection for the spring-summer 2026 season, revealing details about the international promotion of his creations.
The renowned designer spoke about his collaboration with Emily in Paris, explaining that his involvement came about through costume designer Marilyn Fitusi. As he stated, this development was a major reward for his work.
“It was something that gave me great pleasure. I didn’t expect the success that would follow, but by airing the series, overnight we gained global recognition to an audience that otherwise would not have known us,”
he said.
As he noted, it would be particularly positive if other Greek designers are highlighted through the series.
The discussion extended to television, with the designer commenting on fashion projects and in particular the possibility of Konstantina Spyropoulou’s return to My Style Rocks.
“I follow these projects because they are fashion related and they entertain people. It would be a nice surprise to see Konstantina again. She is a presence that is somewhat reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe on TV,” he commented.
