Famous fashion designer Vassilis Zoulias collaborated with the production of the series “Emily In Paris” as the protagonist, Lily Collins, wears some of the creations in various scenes of the series.
This series, to a large extent, relies heavily on fashion and wardrobe, with many of the choices being unique and eccentric.
The designer, this morning, Friday 5 June, spoke about his experience of having six of his creations included in the series, even pointing out that he was the only one of the designers to be paid.

“It’s an accolade and it’s given us immense joy and certainly Emily In Paris changed my career overnight. Pericles Kondylatos is close friends with the Sex and the City stylist, a legendary stylist, and he sent in the coronet along with his own work and mine. That’s how we met. Patricia (the stylist) then sent me some message…”.
And continue: “Of course now things have changed enormously. At the moment, for Lily Collins to wear something, I’ve heard she needs 100 to 150 grand. To put something on the show… With us it was very different. I got paid. I was the only one who got paid. And she paid for it herself, that’s the amazing thing. She chose them herself, she paid for them and she wore them…”
She chose them herself.
Talking about the impact the comparative partnership has had on his career, he said: “We put ourselves on the world map overnight. Because 160 countries came in looking for the clothes he wore within ten hours of the show coming out.”
