Rail replacement and 5G network installation works in the Athens Metro continue on Sunday 3/5 and Monday 4/5.

The works are taking place on the “Attiki – University” section and the stations on Line 2 Attiki, Larisis Station, Metaxourgio, Omonia and University will close at 21:40 in the evening, 2 and a half hours earlier than the scheduled traffic end.

Omonia and Attiki stations will remain open for Line 1 (HSTAP).

Trains on Line 2 during the working hours will run between Anthoupoli – Sepolia and Syntagma – Elliniko stations.

In detail, the last trains, before the closure of the stations, will depart:

from LARISSIS STATION to ELLINIKO at 21:33,

Passengers will be served on the section from Sepolia to Syntagma by the temporary bus line X18 “F. METRO SYNTAGMA – F. METRO AGIOS ANTONIOΣ”, which will not pass through the stations of Sepolia and Attiki. The line will make the following stops:
