The market is in an Easter mood, with supermarkets and shops operating today, Good Saturday, with limited opening hours due to the impending resurrection. Consumers are doing their last shopping with the traffic peaking in the morning.
More specifically, shops and supermarkets remain open early, but are closing earlier than on other days of Holy Week.
Today, shops are open from 8:00am to 6:00pm or 7:00pm, depending on the chain and store, and in a few cases they stay open until 8:00pm.
As a reminder, all shops will be closed tomorrow, Easter Sunday, as well as on Easter Monday, as scheduled for public holidays.
So, consumers are advised to complete their shopping in time, as after noon the market gradually empties and shops close early.
