The arrest of two men for possession and trafficking of drugs was made by police officers of the Sub-Directorate for Narcotics of the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime, following an operation carried out in the afternoon of May 8.
According to the Hellenic Police, a search conducted at the home of the two accused identified and seized 41,700 grams of raw cannabis of the hydroponic cultivation type “SKUNK”. Also found were 130 drug tablets, an electronic precision scale, three mobile phones, a closed circuit camera, the sum of 700 euros, and a car allegedly used for their activities.
The police said the two arrested had been previously concerned by the authorities for other offences, while one of them had been placed under a restraining order.
The accused were taken to the relevant prosecuting authority.
