This Tuesday afternoon, there was a traffic accident in Kavala.
The accident happened hours today on the Egnatia coastal road, after Pyrgos and before Loutra Eleftheron in Kavala, where a truck collided with an agricultural machine.
The vehicle of the victim, a 35-year-old man from Bulgaria, went off the road when he tried to avoid the truck, whose driver violated the STOP.
The authorities and ambulances immediately rushed to the scene, but unfortunately, efforts to resuscitate the driver were fruitless.
The severity of the collision fatally injured the driver of the agricultural machine.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident and are seeking witnesses.
