A 19-year-old student who contracted microbial meningitis is now rehospitalized and communicating with his surroundings, but is still being treated in the ICU of Trikala Hospital.
As PODEDN President Michalis Giannakos informed, the young man will also need a neurological evaluation, but “it seems that he is winning the battle for life.”
The 19-year-old appears to have been confused in the previous days in the laboratories of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he is studying.
