A shocking incident occurred early Thursday morning in Chalkida. A 35-year-old man, a resident of Ipatos in Boeotia, was found dead inside his car, which was parked right next to the entrance of the 10th Primary School of Chalkida.
The 35-year-old was found unconscious by local residents shortly after 07:00, who immediately alerted the police and the ambulance. Unfortunately, as SKAI reports, the rescuers who arrived at the scene simply found his death.
The authorities’ mobilization was instantaneous, as the time for students to arrive at the school was approaching. With concerted efforts, the body was removed from the spot before 08:00 hours so that the children were not confronted with the cruel image.
Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the sudden death, while the body of the 35-year-old will be taken for a post-mortem examination.
