Tragedy unfolded this morning in Trikala when a 22-year-old woman suddenly lost consciousness in her home.

As reported by trikalaola.gr, her parents alerted the ambulance, which arrived immediately at the scene and the rescuers did what the protocol provides for resuscitation, but without managing to revive her.

The unfortunate woman was transferred to the ICU of the Trikala Hospital, but even there efforts proved fruitless. The autopsy is expected to shed light on the cause of death.
