Traffic regulations will be in force on the Athens-Lamia National Road, in the area of Metamorfosi, due to the extension of existing sound barriers.
The works will take place from 3 June to 31 July 2026, during the night hours 23:00 to 06:00, on the traffic flow towards Athens.

During the interventions, the right lane will be blocked in the following sections:
In the section between mileposts 16.700 and 16.115, an exit to the Attiki Odos junction will be created. At the same time, the entrance branch of the Tatoi interchange at milepost 16,795 will remain closed.
Drivers wishing to enter the motorway will be directed to the upstream direction to Lamia and through the Pyrna interchange, at km 18.770, they will be able to return to the Athens direction.
In addition, the right lane will also be blocked on the section between mileposts 17.400 and 16.350, with the Tatoi interchange remaining open for the convenience of drivers.
The competent authorities urge drivers to drive at reduced speed, to exercise increased caution when passing through the construction sites and to comply with the temporary signage that will be placed in the area.
