Exceeding 200,000 euros is the booty of the criminal organization, for the dismantling of which an operation of the Sub-Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of Northern Greece in Thessaloniki has been underway since the morning in Thessaloniki.
As known by the police, the criminal group allegedly committed thefts, burglaries and robberies, while so far five people have been arrested and weapons have been seized.
According to reports, the most “spectacular” hit by this group was in a shop, from which the perpetrators removed almost 150,000 euros. According to the same information, the alleged members of the organisation also committed three burglaries in houses with money and jewellery as booty, two thefts (car and motorcycle), as well as a robbery against a pedestrian.
Official announcements on the case will be made by the National Police after the operation is over.
