More than 800 violations of the traffic code were recorded yesterday evening until dawn, by police officers of the Thessaloniki Traffic Police Directorate, while four arrests were made for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Among the total of 811 offences recorded, the main ones are: 287 for speeding, 259 for illegal parking, 61 for trucks, 13 for noise emission and 10 for drunkenness.
In addition, three people were arrested by police officers of the Traffic Accident Control and Prevention Team in the area of Evosmos and one person by police officers of the Oraiokastro police station in their area of responsibility, as they were caught driving private cars under the influence of alcohol.
