The arrest of a 58-year-old local man, accused of illegal activity in the security systems sector and misleading use of Greek Police insignia, was made by police officers in Thessaloniki.
According to a police statement, the 58-year-old man was found inside a store owned by him, selling and installing alarms without the required IEPYA (Private Security Service Providers) company license and without a personal work permit.
In addition, according to the same statement, he had posted the logo of the Hellenic Police on his business website, as well as an advertisement for the above security systems for sale and installation.
