Five juveniles, aged 13 to 17, were arrested in Thessaloniki for shoplifting in convenience stores.
According to the police, the perpetrators were spotted yesterday at dawn, in a convenience store in Charilaou area, where one of them allegedly removed tobacco products and items of small value, while the other four employed the employee.
The police investigation revealed that earlier that day they had committed two other thefts, in the same way, in shops in Analipsi and Kalamaria, removing, among other things, 15 disposable vaping devices, five of which were found in the possession of one of the arrested persons.
In addition, it was found that four of the arrested persons had not issued a police identity card. A case file has been formed against them and they will be taken to the competent judicial authorities.
