The 17-year-old boy accused of sexual acts against a 14-year-old girl in Thessaloniki has been released on parole.

The minor, originally from Egypt, apologized today to an investigator, denying the charges against him (rape and sexual acts with a minor under 15 years old). He reportedly said it was all done with the consent of the 14-year-old girl, whose real age he said he did not know.

After his explanation, the investigator and the prosecutor decided to release him with the imposition of two restrictive conditions: a ban on leaving the country and a ban on approaching and communicating with the minor.
