“Thesaurus” 100.000 euros, buried in a 76-year-old woman’s garden, was snatched by thieves under the pretext that they were partners of an accountant.
The fraud was discovered in a village in the greater Lagada area of Thessaloniki, and a 22-year-old man was arrested.
According to the police, the 22-year-old, together with his accomplice, whose details have not yet been identified, went under the above pretext to the elderly woman’s home, from where… they dug out the savings of the victim.
A case file was formed against the 22-year-old arrested man, while the second offender is wanted.
