In a recent interview on the “Philenews Podcasts” podcast, George Theofanous positioned himself around the new generation of folk singers, expressing the opinion that Katerina Lioliou, Petros Iakovidis and Thodoris Ferris have the potential to become important popular voices of the next generation.
As he said, artistic progress and timelessness are built through proper repertoire, hard work and continuous development. At the same time, he did not rule out the possibility of a future collaboration with them, noting however that he is in a period of reflection about whether he will continue to create new songs or retire from the recording industry.
