The second round of A21 applications for the 2026 Child Benefit has been successfully completed, according to OPEKA. As announced by the Agency, the online platform will be reopened on 29 May 2026, at 08:00, in order for beneficiaries to submit new applications or make amendments to existing ones.

A total of 538,644 applications were filed during the platform’s operation for this year. Of these, 477,211 were automatically approved through the system, while 58,223 were rejected because they did not meet the required criteria for granting the benefit. Meanwhile, 3,210 applications remain under review for further verification.

According to OPEKA data, the approved applications represent a total of 822,649 children. The Agency continues to process the files that are still pending in order to complete their evaluation.

Reminder that in order for the allowance to be paid, the application must be finalized and approved. Applications that have remained in temporary storage are considered unsubmitted and will not be considered for payment.
