Through vouchers.gov.gr can submit their application for fuel subsidy through FuelPass. The initiative is part of the measures announced by the Government to support citizens from the rising energy costs resulting from the war in the Middle East and is being carried out in the framework of the cooperation between the Ministers of National Economy and Finance Kyriakos Pierrakakis, Development Takis Theodorikakos, Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence, Dimitrios Papastergiou, as well as the Deputy Ministers of National Economy and Finance Thanos Petralias and Vassilis Spanakis of Interior.
In particular, citizens enter the vouchers.gov.gr using personal codesTaxisNet and enter a confirmation code they receive on their mobile phone from the National Contact Register (NCR – emep.gov.gr). They then confirm their contact details, select or fill in the registration number of the vehicle for which they wish to receive a subsidy and indicate how the subsidy is to be paid. Please note that the subsidy can be obtained either by issuing a digital debit card, by choosing one of the available providers, or by direct bank transfer, by declaring the IBAN. Alternatively, the application can also be submitted through a CCP.
Those who apply on the platform today, Monday, will receive the subsidy within 48 hours, i.e. by Wednesday. People who apply from M. Wednesday onwards will be paid after Easter due to the bank holiday.
The digital card subsidy (Fuel Pass) is formatted as follows:
For cars:
- 60 euros for island regions
- 50 euros for the rest of Greece
For motorcycles:
- EUR 35 for island regions
- 30 euros for the rest of Greece
The measures will apply for the two months of April to May. However any unused amount will remain active on the card until the end of July.
