The 16-year-old boy arrested after he lured a 16-year-old girl in Liossiia to the prosecutor’s office.
More specifically, the driver of the motorbike that lured and abandoned the 16-year-old girl in Liosia was arrested on Saturday afternoon (18.04.2026), while the minor continues to fight for her life in intensive care. In addition to the juvenile, three other people were arrested, a 20-year-old woman, a 20-year-old man, who used false statements to try to conceal the identity of the driver, and a 22-year-old man, who was a passenger on the bike.
The perpetrator – who remained at the Attica Traffic Police Station that night – abandoned the girl, who is being treated for serious injuries at the KAT.
According to police, the 16-year-old has previously been a concern to authorities for various offences, including drug trafficking.
The Sudanese juvenile ran into the 16-year-old and “threw” her 30 metres away. The girl is being treated in a critical condition at KAT hospital. The mother spoke to Star about the moments she experienced, saying: “A mother in this moment watching her child fly away like a rag and disappear out of nowhere while walking on the street… I saw the video and I was in shock.”
Also she said: “Right now my child is lying intubated, with brain injuries and internal bleeding… and this gentleman fled and left her like that.”
The 16-year-old’s father said: “In intensive care she is sedated. It is a difficult situation,” while clarifying: “No, I don’t want an apology. if my child had been killed, would he have brought her back to me?”
