Accidental rather than criminal act was finally behind the death of a 44-year-old man found dead in a stable in Kalamata.
Although the initial data indicated that the shot in the foreign man’s head was the action of another person, the discovery of the gun on Wednesday afternoon, 29.04.2026, near the stable in Kalamata, shows that the scene was staged to distract the authorities in order to make it look like a murder.
According to the latest developments, the 47-year-old Albanian and the 50-year-old woman who hosted him at the stable, along with four other people, appear to have tried to hide the truth.
Unbelievable as it may seem, because the gun used by the man to end his life was not registered and belonged to one of the aforementioned individuals, they took it from the spot where the 44-year-old shot himself, smashed it to pieces and dumped it in an area near the stable.
The six people involved in the case were arrested for making false statements and obstruction of justice and the case now appears to be closed as a suicide.
