“The truth is that PASOK has gotten us used to “green Syriza” positions lately, but Ms. Apostolaki has surpassed all imagination, reminding us of the times of the “German cholos” and the most extreme toxicity,” said the spokesperson of the New Democracy party Alexandra Sdoukou on the occasion of the speech of the party’s deputy at the congress.

Sdoukou referred to an “undemocratic position” and said that Ms. Apostolaki “insulting the citizens who chose to vote for New Democracy” by calling them “customers of the right” and called them “a “downfall”.

“Not even the word ‘downfall’ can adequately describe the downhill slide that Ms. Apostolaki to describe the 41% of the people because they did not vote for the party she would have wanted,” he said, adding:

“Unfortunately, it becomes even more sad as this vulgarity was not corrected by anyone at the congress, neither the leadership nor the presidency who, through their tolerance, adopted it.” She concluded by saying that “what Ms. Apostolaki said, however, does not characterize the citizens who did not vote for the party she wants” and added: “They characterise her own party which, while calling itself a ‘democratic party’, has not yet condemned this undemocratic position.”
