Ms. In response to a question about the PASOK congress, she said that “if a journalist, hearing what was said, had to come up with a headline, he would probably say that PASOK excludes cooperation with New Democracy. But the question logically arises as to who it would govern with in the – rather distant – event that it won by even one vote, as it claims to be aiming for.”

He noted that “the Greek citizen has the right to know, he must know with whom Mr. Androulakis wants to work. With Mr Tsipras and the party he will build? With SYRIZA? With Mrs Konstantopoulou? It is his right to know and PASOK’s obligation to reveal with which parties and on what terms he will cooperate. So that the citizens know that when you vote for Androulakis, you get someone else who is now in hiding. So that they know when they vote for PASOK what is coming from behind.”

He concluded by saying that “New Democracy will ask for the vote of Greek citizens when the elections come and will seek a third self-reliant term. I think it is entitled to believe that this is possible and in any case much more reasonable than PASOK, which is currently 15-17 points behind, claiming that it can become the first party, even by one vote. We want a third term in order for the country to continue on the course it has started and, of course, on the basis of what we will declare as our goals for Greece in 2030.”
